Miracles! Oh my STARS!

I know I've had the thought before, as I'm sure you have as well, it's not going to happen to me. Or, it happens to others but I doubt it'll ever happen to me. Or even, that's what happens to other's it just isn't gonna happen for me.

Yup, I knew it. Well guess what? It has happened to me.

My mother-in-law was told by her lung doctor that the spot on her top right lung was cancer so she ordered the dreaded Pet-Scan to determine the severity and go forward with a plan of attack. We took her to the radiology center and waited the several hours for her to go through it.

Then after that we had to wait for 2 weeks before we could meet with the lung dr. Talk about stressing you out. I'm sure there are lots of you that have been in that waiting room, some of us we've been there several times. So, we waited and of course we prayed specific prayers for her healing.

And finally the day arrived and off we went. Everyone didn't sleep much that night expecting our lives to be changed in a horrible way. But in the back of our minds we'd all gotten encouragement that the Lord had healed her. But still you wait and pray.

Mike had gotten a nudge from the Lord to go up for prayer standing in for his mom. We weren't even at our own church this day. So he went up and the pastor, who has pastor's Mike's mom a few years back and knows her, gave him a prayer cloth and they prayed. Faith was in the house that morning. There had been not one but two testimonials of God's miraculous power on cancer in that church just recently. So we were full of faith.

We'd given her the prayer cloth and went about waiting and praying along with the rest of her family and friends.

One of Mike's sisters never got alarmed, yes she prayed but she knew it wasn't going to turn out to be anything bad.

One morning, days before the dreaded appointment, mom accidentally washed the prayer cloth with her sheets and pillowcases. When it fell out she was shocked that she'd washed it and heart broken. But as soon as she felt that fear the Lord impressed her with the thought that "It's OK it's all been washed away." Just like that cloth had been washed He'd washed away the cancer.

Well, I'm hereto testify that that is exactly what He did. The doctor told us that we were there to hear her tell us 'nothing'.

So let me tell you about my Jesus! He can change your life!! In many more ways than one!
